Born in South Africa, globalist by nature.
After many years of dabbling in various business opportunities I was lucky to find my passion in event management and specifically scientific conference organization. I have garnered a vast amount of experience over the last 16 years in all aspects of conference organization including the creation and execution of conference budgeting, business development, destination selection, marketing and website building, content input, all facets of abstract handling, registration systems, onsite logistics, and my forte of which I am particularly proud, contract negotiations and sponsorship sourcing and liaison.
My love of travelling has been well served by the very many international conferences I have organized and managed worldwide and therefore creating personal connections with international associations, clients, suppliers and industry.
Some of the files managed by me includes working group conferences for the European Society of Cardiology and other cardiology conferences plus mass conferences in neurology, paediatric dentistry, paediatrics, orthopedics, ophthalmology, life sciences, pharmacology, nutrition, bioethics and many more.
In addition to organizing conferences, I have also managed a few associations including, The International Association of Paediatric Dentistry (IAPD) and the European Association of Paediatrics (EAP) and was part of the strategic planning decision making at the various Board Meetings.
